METROPherLIS  (2024) mixes visual media and auditory media to encompass the experience of being a woman in a city.

the constant eyes and selective ears. the catcalls and the tears. the laughter and camaraderie. the hardness and the softness.

METROPherLIS is a play on words, utilizing the word “metropolis” and adding in the word “her” in order

to emphasize the piece’s connection to women’s experiences in cities.
